About BOPT (ER)

The Board of Practical Training (Eastern Region), BOPT(ER), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, implements The Apprenticeship Act 1961 and facilitates apprenticeship training through the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) across eastern and north-eastern India.

BOPT(ER) bridges the gap between academic learning and industrial training, ensuring graduates and diploma holders become industry-ready professionals.

About NATS

The National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) under the Ministry of Education aims to enhance employability by providing on-the-job training. It bridges classroom learning with industrial needs.

  • Stipend via DBT with 50% support from Govt. of India.
  • Industry participation to build a skilled workforce.
  • Training duration: 6–36 months.
  • NATS 2.0 Portal for all activities.

About the Competition

“BOPT(ER) Reelathon” is a creative initiative promoting NATS through short, engaging social media videos or Reels. It inspires individuals to creatively showcase the benefits of apprenticeship training.

The competition aims to make apprenticeship more relatable and impactful among youth, highlighting real journeys and success stories while expanding NATS awareness through digital and social platforms.

Open to: Students, apprentices, trainers, establishments, and creators.

Dignity, Conduct & Submission Guidelines

To uphold the dignity of BOPT(ER) and the Ministry of Education, all participants must adhere to the following conduct and submission rules.

Respect & Decorum

  • No abusive, derogatory, or indecent content.
  • No hate speech, political propaganda, or inflammatory messages.
  • No depiction of unsafe practices or harassment.

Privacy & Consent

  • Show faces only with explicit consent.
  • Do not film in restricted areas; follow your organization’s media policy.
  • Blur confidential screens or documents when required.

Truth, Brand & Rights

  • No false or misleading claims about NATS/BOPT(ER).
  • Use official logos only as per brand usage rules; avoid distortion or recolor.
  • Use only original or licensed music, videos, and media assets.

Disqualification Triggers

  • Violent, indecent, discriminatory, or political content.
  • Infringement of intellectual property, misinformation, or breach of privacy.
  • Hidden advertisements, endorsements, or commercial promotions.

Submission Guidelines

  • Participants must create original content (reel/video/short clip) based on the NATS themes shared by BOPT(ER).
  • Only individual participation is permitted.
  • Content may be created in English or Hindi.
  • Each video must be between 30 to 90 seconds in duration.
  • Submissions must be made through the official Google Form / Registration Form available on the BOPT(ER) website and in the bio sections of its Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube pages.
  • Participants must request collaboration with @bopt.er on Instagram and Facebook and tag @bopt.er on all platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook).
  • Mandatory Hashtags: #BOPTER, #NATS, #MOE, #Skilldevelopment, #mygovofindia (participants may include additional relevant hashtags).
  • Content containing offensive, political, discriminatory, or misleading information will be rejected and may invite legal action.
  • All submissions will undergo review prior to approval.
  • Participants must ensure compliance with social media community guidelines on all platforms.
